FAQs
The Empress Ritual is helpful for clearing breakout prone skin, however you should not gua sha over active breakouts. The skin care products work well for breakout prone skin. To learn more click here.
The strokes should be gentle on the face, especially around the eyes. Think of how gently you would frost a cake — it doesn't take a lot of pressure to get great results. In fact, when moving lymph, it’s important to use light pressure. Learn more about lymphatic drainage here.
The key differences between Bian Stone and White Jade. Bian stone emits far-infrared rays and ultrasound pulses for deep healing, while White Jade is known for its calming and balancing effects. Bian stone has a slightly grainy texture and helps improve circulation and stimulate heat, while White Jade is smooth and gentle with a buttery feel on the skin, excellent for sensitive skin types.
Clean your stone prior to each use with warm water and a skin-friendly cleanser or soap. We recommend storing it in the Stone Pouch as they are relatively fragile. Even diamonds can break when dropped!
For best results, practice at least 3 times per week. Daily use is encouraged, but not more than once per day.
