Start Everyday with the Aura Ritual

 

Dry brush daily and apply the Aura Seaweed Detox Body Mist and Aura Rose Pepper Toning Oil to maximize your results. Focus on a different area of the body with gua sha each day.

If you experience bruising or marks from gua sha, wait until bruising has faded before working on it again.

Today's tutorial will focus on releasing neck tension.

Release Neck Tension

The modern world is incredibly hard on the neck, mostly because of technology. Looking down at phones and computers throws the body off balance and puts additional strain on the neck and the jaw. This tutorial will help you let it all go.

— 1 —
Use the Wavy Edge to sweep from the hairline to the shoulder with firm pressure. Do several passes in this area to relieve tension.

— 2 —
Use the Wavy Edge in a different way. Hold it perpendicular to the skin and work back and forth across the neck -- see video for reference. This cross friction technique releases the muscles in a different way.

— 3 —
Using the Comb Edge to release the neck in a different way, work from the hairline to the shoulder several more times.

— 4 —
Lastly, use the Rounded End of the stone to work in more pointed way on areas of the neck that need extra release.
