Tight Jaw Relief
While many of us clench our teeth during the day or grind them at night because of stress; poor posture can be the sneaky culprit of jaw tension. When the shoulders are rounded and the head sticks out — hey, text neck — the jaw has to support the head more than it should.
— TO PREPARE — Start with the Empress Ritual. Use the Pointed Tip of the tool (not U Edge) to access and release pressure points in the jaw.
— 1 — Locate the large muscle under the cheekbone and in front of the ear.
— 2 — Use the Pointed Tip of the tool to make little circles with medium to firm pressure. It should feel good!
— 3 — Move down to the meaty part of the muscle and press / rub again. You can open and close the jaw while you do this if it feels good.
— 4 — Move along the jawline toward the chin and press upward toward the muscle, releasing it there. (This is the attachment of the jaw muscle.)
— 5 — Using Comb Edge, start at the cheekbone and move down.
Post Your Experience
Some people report having funny, weird, and/or vivid dreams after jaw and mouth work. Keep an eye on yours tonight.

“I love my Empress Collection! Whenever I do my Empress ritual, I feel rejuvenated and my skin is glowing. My Gua Sha tool is also helpful when I have a stiff neck or tight jaw from stress!”
